  Biblical Counselor Training Course
  Course Overview
The Biblical Counselor Training Course is a 10-week program that will prepare and equip both "lay" and "staff" church counselors. The course provides a singularly Biblical foundation in order to understand and deal with contemporary life issues. Students of this course will learn how to conduct a counseling session, set goals, and develop treatment plans.

Developing Treatment Plans

Practical application of course content: Setting up Treatment Plans for Anger, Anxiety and Depression

  This 10-week training will answer the following questions:
  • What is the Biblical basis for defining identity?
  • How does the Bible address the issue of low self-esteem?
  • What is the Biblical solution to people who say they cannot change?
  • How does the Bible address the issue of free will and choices?
  • How does the Bible address the issues of anger, anxiety, and depression?
  Internship
The Biblical Counselor Training Course will be followed by a 10-week Internship, for individuals recommended/referred by their pastors.
